I cook the rice first, then fill in the chicken? I'm doing an independent Toaster (Hamilton Beach toaster). Should I put a little chicken broth in the pan or not? I know the chicken to produce its own juice. I should be able to make the sauce the kitchen, too. Would not it be better than just the rice and serve separately? How long and what temperature. This is not a good idea to fill the chicken with the rice before cooking the chicken. There is potential for salmonella here in the rice absorbs the juice from raw chicken (And associated bacteria) and the internal temperature can not be hot enough to kill bacteria, although all seem to be well cooked.
